Elaine Fitzgerald Muise

Elaine is passionate about fitness and wellness. As a fitness instructor and Coach she has inspired many people to prioritize their fitness. Elaine was recognized as one of the top three and again top five Can Fit Pro Fitness Instructor Specialist in Canada.  Her professional certifications include: Canadian Fitness Professionals Instructor Specialist, Les Mills International Trainer in Body Pump, Body Flow, Body Combat; Jillian Michaels Shred and Orangetheory Fitness Coach and Lift Trainer.

Tracy Cipryk

Tracy’s love for movement began in the dance world as a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer. Her passion for movement evolved into the fitness and wellness industry.  She has extensive professional training and experience in fitness, yoga, meditation and all forms of dance. Was a master trainer and presenter for many organizations including Can Fit Pro, Resist-a-Ball and Gymstick. Certified through many organizations including 500YTT, ACSM, NSCA Stott Pilates, Zumba.

Ashley Carson

Ashley is a Certified Holistic Nutritional Practitioner and currently 200hr registered yoga teacher, with ongoing studies under International Master/Senior Yoga teacher Megan Currie to qualify for RYT-500hr. She has additional training in Yin and Kundalini Yoga as well. She’s been coaching fitness, teaching yoga and advising others on their wellness journeys her entire adult life. Ashley’s bubbly and compassionate demeanor towards others inspires excitement and a willingness to explore what’s possible in her movement classes. Ashley’s classes range from seated meditation, all levels of yoga, and high intensity fitness, strength and endurance.

Melanie Pronko

Melanie fell in love with group fitness at a young age as a fun way to cross train in complement to her dance, sports, and other activities. She draws on her local, international, and virtual experiences with yoga, HIIT team training, group fitness instruction, coaching, dance, theatre, personal training, mindfulness meditation, and classroom teaching to curate fitness class which are playful, invigorating, exploratory, and functional. Her offerings invite participants to attune to present moment awareness; all while building strength, resilience, endurance, flexibility, and other elements of fitness.
Certifications: CanFitPro FIS, PTS, 200YTT, Zumba, Zumba Kids, SBZ, Les Mills International Body Pump, BMM (in progress).

Andrew Posner

Sports and fitness have always been a big part of Andrew’s life. He started his professional training career as a Strength and Conditioning coach and Olympic Lifting coach. Wanting to cover as many avenues of fitness as possible, he moved into working with the general population, helping people achieve their goals through exercise and nutrition. In 2021 Andrew was one of 5 trainers selected internationally to develop the Lift Program which is currently offered at OrangeTheory Fitness locations worldwide. At present, Andrew resides in Halifax NS, working as a personal trainer and an online coach. Professional certifications include: ACSM, PN1 (Precision Nutrition), OTC (Online Trainer Academy), NCCP Weightlifting Coach, NCCP Multi Sport Coach

Reena Davis

Reena Davis has been part of the fitness and wellness scene for over 30 years. Teaching yoga and fitness programs with a strong foundation in functional exercise allows participants to build strength, endurance, and flexibility in ways that improve daily life. Reena is also a Licensed Counselling Therapist and mindfulness instructor.

Heather-Anne

Heather-Anne has been working in the fitness industry for over 25 years and has been heavily inspired and influenced by her background in dance and sports. Based out of Halifax, she believes that a healthy lifestyle encompasses all elements of well-being including getting enough sleep, eating nutritious foods, daily movement and lowering stress levels. Certified through CFP, 200 YTT Zumba, POUND, Spin.

Class Descriptions

Body Sculpt: A muscle conditioning and endurance class for the whole body, using body weight exercises, and gym sticks.

Bodyweight Strength, Sweat, Stretch: No equipment needed!  Full body workout using just your bodyweight to tone strengthen, get your sweat on before cooling down with a restorative stretch.

Bootcamp: Interval training class using calisthenics, cardio and various strength training equipment to get a full body workout.

Box & Jam: Kick-box and jamming fun to the beat.

Cardio-Core: A challenging mix of intense, dynamic core-stabilizing exercises and cardiovascular endurance to get the blood flowing and heart rate elevated.

Cardio-Fit Work the heart and cardiovascular system through a fun, energetic sequence set to great dance music.

Core & Bootie: Get your glutes and abs fired up! This class will hit on all aspects of the gluteal group of muscles which help with back pain, alignment and even knees! Along with core work to support the back and improve balance and stability.

Core Pilates:  Focuses on lengthening and strengthening the spine and core muscles.

Dance Fitness: Dance into your workout today! Exercises are infused into basic cardio dance routines suitable for all experience levels to make for a workout that's lots of fun and laughs.

Dance-Fit: A full body conditioning class that utilizes simple choreography from a variety of dance genres to get your body grooving.

Dance Fusion: Combines Zumba, Hip Hop and other forms of dance fitness.

Drum Dance: Fun energetic workout with drum sticks—strength and dance.

Fitness Frenzy: Freestyle class mixing in cardio conditioning, strength, coordination, and flexibility training—hi-lo, resistance, & drills disguised as games.

Fitness Mix: A blend of strength, cardio, and flexibility training.

Fun Fit Mix: Freestyle mix of hi-lo, and athletic drills to build endurance.  Look out for formats that lend to full body training including pyramids, follow the leader, and maybe a surprise or two!

Friday Fit Fusion: Fuses cardio, strength and core for a full body workout.

Evening Flow:  A flow of yoga poses to open the whole body.

Golf Strength: Resistance training focusing on increasing performance and injury prevention in golf. Build and balance muscles used during the golf swing to help generate more power.

Group Run: Relieve stress, enjoy nature, and get a sweat on with a team run.

Gym Stick: Strength and stretch the whole body using gym sticks.

HIIT: a high-energy full body workout, incorporating interval training to improve endurance and strength—including a dynamic warm up, interval training circuit, and cool down.

Intervals Play: Set intervals of work and rest times to train anaerobic and aerobic systems with variations of athletic-inspired exercises—think tabata, with a twist.

LIIT: Get an intense interval training workout while keeping one foot on the ground at all times to reduce impact. This is suitable for those with joint conditions such as arthritis. Options for high impact will be shown.

Morning Mobility: Start you day with some movement and stretches to get you mobile.

Move & Groove: Dance into your workout today—this class combines fitness with cardio dance.

Outdoor All-Levels Bootcamp: Fresh air and fitness fix!  Multiple options/variations of functional exercises offered in a team training atmosphere to get you in the work zone.

Outdoor Bootcamp: Full body workout outdoors—strength and cardio.

Outdoor Fit Fun: Outdoor book camp style.

Pilates: A high-energy, full body pilates class with a strong standing sequence and mat work.

Pilates Lower Body: A high-energy, focused lower body pilates class begins with a strong standing sequence followed by mat work.

Pool Fitness: Aqua aerobics with noodles.

Primals: Core Strength and Mobility Fusion—this class brings together elements of modalities like animal flow, pilates, yoga, and strength exercises to create a unique bodyweight workout.

Restorative Yoga: A practice of yoga poses, held longer with support of props to relax the body, reduce stress and prepare for yoga nidra.  Bring an blanket and pillow

Rock & Box: Combines boxing, kicking and rock out music.

Sunrise Yoga:  A gentle morning practice of poses and meditation.

Sweat, Flex, Stretch: Fuses cardio, strength and core for a full body workout.
